For those of you who knew me as a kid, you'll appreciate this. Mikkhi loves to look at himself in his kick-n-play mirror. Smiles abound when he finds the baby in the mirror. John said he's vain (jokingly), but I think it's just because he's the cutest baby there is. We both know that it's just a developmental milestone. I love that he's interacting more. He'll follow sounds and lights and loves to laugh. It's funny though, he can go from screaming to laughing in a split second. Oh, little boy, how much you are loved! Here's a picture of him playing with the kick-n-play and one of him practicing "tummy-time". It looks as if he'll roll right over anytime.
I went to the hospital today to see about when to start work. It looks like around October 9th or 10th. The one lady was out of the office so I don't know when for sure. My heart breaks to leave him, but I'm rest assured knowing that he and Daddy will be spending quality time together. It will be nice to have the extra income that we've missed. Maybe Daddy won't have to work so much too. We went to weigh in too and he still hasn't broke the 12# mark yet. He's doing very well and they said he has no problems breastfeeding. That was good to hear.
Hasta la Vista!
