Busy Man

I’ve been a busy little man. I’m 3 months old on Sunday. The time has just flown and Mom and Dad can’t believe how big I am. On Thursday I weighed 12 pounds 10 ounces.

Since I last visited this page, I went to my cousin’s high school games. I got to watch an exciting volleyball game and was very interested in the lights at the top of the gym. Then I went to a football game. It rained and was windy so I wasn’t too content, but it was fun to support the team. My new shoes are their colors so that was a big hit.

I also went to Grandma and Granddad’s ranch and we weaned the cattle and took the calves to auction. I really liked the livestock auction. I paid attention to the auctioneer and was alert the entire time. The auctioneer noticed me in the stands and gave me a hat that is almost as big as me. I fell asleep within 5 minutes of the end of the auction. The calves sold pretty well this year so I’m happy with that. Granddad made me laugh so much.

My favorite outing the past few weeks has been story time. They have a Humpty Dumpty Story time for little kids at the library every week. I slept the entire time the first week, but have been awake for the rest of them. We sing songs, read books, play with bubbles and all sorts of games. I pretty much just watch the older kids, but I smile and laugh and am very alert. Mom knows I’m learning something. I sure love it when she sings the songs to me.

I’m getting together with my great aunts and uncles this weekend so there will be another post hopefully soon. I keep telling Mom to get to the computer to tell my stories more often since I still can’t type yet. Hopefully she’ll be more on the ball. She only has one more week off with me before she goes back to work. I’m going to miss her but I’ll do fine. I smile lots and she's trying to catch it on camera, but when she takes out the camera I stop smiling. One of these days we'll be able to post a big old smile on this website. Well, I’ll check back with you later.
