Ringing in the New Year

I went to a New Years Eve party and stayed awake until after midnight. Mom didn't want to push it so we left around 12:30 am...just about when I started throwing a fit. I did pretty well at the party and sometimes said "happy new year" when prompted. I liked it when people would count it down for me. Of course, I liked the noisemakers :).
